Welcome to Te-Awa Parti Poodles.

We have been breeding Poodles since 1983 for the Conformation and Performance ring, with Health, Soundness and Temperament in mind. We advocate good health, responsible Poodle ownership and give a five year genetic health guarantee. It is important for us to produce the whole Poodle, one that is capable of being all that it can be, excel as a beloved companion in both Performance and Conformation venues.

We show our Poodles at the United Kennel Club conformation shows, therefore many are dual registered, AKC/UKC.

The International Parti Poodle Club, Inc. has been formed by a founding membership of dedicated Poodle breeders and pet owners. We are interested in promoting Poodle health, diversity in breeding, performance and conformation showing, while educating the general public with honesty and integrity. We also believe in continued sharing of Health information for the betterment of the breed. We are an active club with required member participation. While our name indicates "Parti Poodles" we encourage solid breeders to join us, after all our Partis came from all Poodles.

Our ultimate goal is to be affiliated with the United Kennel Club (UKC).

News Flash!!! " Te-Awa's Tuxedo Partilicious at Rollaxend" makes history by placing 2nd in a UK Club affiliated Show, no Parti has shown in the United Kingdom since the 1800's.

Here is what Juliet wrote:

I showed Shirly today at the Herts and Essex show, I showed her in the standard poodle classes under a breed judge, Val Beck of Maldavale Poodles. Shirly won the Junior and the Graduate and went on to win Reserve Best of Breed. I also showed her in the Any Variety Utility class and she won Junior and then went on to win Best Any Variety Utility. There were cheers from the ringside, I was very emotional and so very proud. Shirly is an absolute joy to show and knows what is expected of her. What a "Star" she is, there is hope for the Partis in the UK.

History Continues for Te-Awa Poodles...."Te-Awa Bama Girl" makes history in New Zealand.

The New Zealand Kennel Club has accepted the first Parti Poodle into it's Kennel Club registry. Dixie, owned and loved by Anne Bennett of Auckland, is Shirly's sister, so together they have made history, even though they live miles apart. (03-16-2007)

Troy, you were with us for such a short time but your entry into this world was the beginning of something very special to me and your brother, Adam. We spoiled you and pampered you and loved you so much. Before we knew it, you had grown into a very handsome young man and we became best friends. Our hearts, minds and love remained so connected through the years even though most recently we lived miles apart. Our hearts are broken now and can never be mended without you here on this earth with us. After the accident you hurt so much and I wanted to hurt for you instead. I know you are at peace now son and out of pain but still our loss is so great to bare. Our tears will continue to flow for you until our pain subsides and we can again smile when we talk about all the fun things we did, the antics you got into throughout your life. Your love and caring of children, the elderly, and our Poodles will always be remembered, but most of all people will remember you Troy, for the helping hand you extended to them. You were a good friend to many and continued to show concern for all throughout your life, no matter how much pain you were in.

Your son Jake is beautiful and you will live on in him, all will remember you as the special person you were, your imprint will stay with many for their entire life. We love and miss you so much son.
